A big part of leadership is identifying good ideas and applying them to the correct problems. Reading, and exploring best practices are good methods for the former, followed by deep reflections.
As part of my year-long leadership experiment, I will actively look for new ideas and journal them as weekly posts. If you also want to try this, here are some Qs to ponder on:
- New concept or perspective that made you change your mind or reflect on deeply held beliefs.
- Someone interesting you met.
- A new technology that blew your mind.
- A leader who was responsible for turning a company around or bringing in exponential growth.
- A leader from your life (family, community, office) whom you admire. Why are they considered so effective and what traits make them so prominent?
